Since its inception in 1974, the International Robot Expo has taken place once every two years. The previous expo had participation from 612 businesses and organizations, with a record-breaking total of 2775 booths. The number of foreign exhibitors increased to 88 businesses and organizations from 14 nations. With over 130,000 visitors overall and almost 10,000 international visitors from 82 different countries, the exhibition has gained recognition as one of the biggest robot trade fairs in the world.

To encourage business discussions and chances for technology exchange, the exhibition will bring together the newest technology and associated goods from robot manufacturers and robot-related businesses in Japan, the “Land of Robotics,” as well as from other nations across the world.

The exhibition will serve as a platform for spreading awareness of advanced robot technology that supports constantly advancing intelligence and knowledge.
